Yankee Swap

On Friday, December 23, we will celebrate the spirit of giving by holding a Yankee Swap. In a Yankee Swap, classmates exchange small gifts. Both the giver and the receiver of the gift are unknown, adding an element of mystery and surprise!

Please bring in ONE gift for the swap. It must be:

• worth $10 or LESS
• Appropriate for a boy or girl
• Appropriate for school
• Wrapped
• Unmarked (no gift tags)

Some ideas for a swap gift include books, puzzles or other games, school or art supplies, or homemade treats (no nuts please).

End of Quarter One, Beginning of Quarter Two

Congratulations! You/your child have reached the end of Quarter One, the first quarter the first year of high school. All work from the first quarter was due today, November 10.

Quarter Two officially begins Monday, November 14. 


If you would like to meet to discuss your grades, Family-Student-Teacher conferences will be held Wednesday, November 16, from 3:30-5 PM. You can find me, as always, in room 147.
